Affinitas appoints Thomas Rajzbaum as group CEO
Rajzbaum has more than 20 years’ experience in leadership roles across Europe. Alongside his career in private equity, he serves as vice president of the ESCP Business School Foundation, which raises funds for student scholarships

Affinitas Education has appointed Thomas Rajzbaum as group chief executive as the international schools platform seeks to grow its network.
Rajzbaum joins from investment firm EQT Group, where he founded the French office for its infrastructure strategy and led its education sector activities across Europe. He has previously held roles at Carlyle Group and Morgan Stanley in London.
Affinitas, which was founded in 2022 and is backed by Oakley Capital, currently runs 20 international and bilingual schools across Europe and the Americas, educating more than 14,000 students. The group works with school leaders to support teaching, facilities and recruitment while maintaining the ethos of individual schools.
Rajzbaum has more than 20 years’ experience in leadership roles across Europe. Alongside his career in private equity, he serves as vice president of the ESCP Business School Foundation, which raises funds for student scholarships. He holds degrees from Dauphine University, ESCP Business School and Columbia Business School.
